Using over 20 years experience of the business sector in the UK, First Governance Solutions has been developed by Colin Kinghorn to work with organisations that have a presence in Asia.
While First Governance Solutions is based in South East Asia, from our base in Bangkok, Thailand, we offer a comprehensive range of governance and risk solutions to clients throughout Asia and indeed, beyond.
Colin is an experienced senior executive who has over 18 years management experience, including being a Board Committees member for a UK company. With wide experience of sitting on the Audit Committee Colin has also led over 30 reviews of corporate governance within a wide range of companies. Your organisation will benefit from Colin's strong links with the governance, risk and control arena.
As a past Chairman of the Institute of Internal Auditors within Scotland, Colin was directly responsible for the significant unprecedented success and growth within Scotland that the IIA enjoyed. As a result, the IIA was in strongly placed to consolidate its position as a leading professional body as well as make inroads into developing relationships with new specialists groups within the media and government.
Colin also has direct experience of Financial Services, having worked within the Life Assurance industry, where he successfully managed a suite of IT projects aimed at re-engineering the front and back office functions to create a more efficient operation to meet the expectations of insurance brokers and policyholders.
Colin has worked as a senior manager within the management consultancy arena for the last 8 years and has been privileged to work with clients in many different sectors. Specifically, Colin has worked with:
